BIM Connected Fabrication: Is It Possible? Eliminating Rework Through Digital Integration

CIM Technologies, Inc., in partnership with Autodesk, successfully held the event “BIM Connected Fabrication: Is It Possible? Eliminating Rework Through Digital Integration” on April 29, 2026, at The Nexus Center, Makati City.


The session brought together industry professionals from the AECO and manufacturing sectors to explore how digital integration can minimize rework, improve efficiency, and strengthen collaboration across project lifecycles. Attendees gained valuable insights from our guest speaker, Engr. Jommel Macabagdal, who shared practical approaches to digital integrity and addressed common misconceptions in digital transformation.


Participants also received updates on CIM solutions and initiatives, fostering deeper understanding of how BIM-connected workflows can drive better project outcomes.

In this session Our In-house speaker Mr. Christian Bairan (Sr. Solutions Officer - AEC Industry) also emphasized the transition from 2D drawings to digital fabrication, reinforcing the importance of BIM fundamentals and how connected AEC tools can work together to improve coordination, accuracy, and overall project efficiency. 



Engr. Jerome Castaneda (Technical Solutions Officer) shared insights on why adopting modern methodologies matters and introduced DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) as a practical approach to improve productivity and reduce waste. He also discussed how Autodesk-informed design workflows can help organizations unlock greater business value through better decision-making and streamlined processes.
