This case study highlights how Ford used Formlabs SLA and SLS 3D printing technologies in the development of the all-electric Explorer. By bringing rapid prototyping, functional testing, and 3D-printed injection molding in-house, Ford was able to accelerate design iterations, reduce development time and costs, and produce complex automotive components more efficiently.
