The morning session of the bootcamp by CIM Education Center at Baliuag University combined inspiration with hands-on learning.
Sir Sherwin Maduro introduced participants to Formlabs and the Form 4 3D Printer, showing how ideas can quickly become real prototypes through fast and precise 3D printing.
This was followed by Sir Jorim Arciaga, who guided students through Solid Edge—from navigating the user interface to part design, drafting, and assembly. Step by step, participants created and visualized their own designs, making the experience both practical and engaging.
Overall, the session gave students a clear and exciting glimpse of the full design-to-prototype process.
The afternoon session with Sir Jorim Arciaga featured a live demo on part design up to assembly drawing using Solid Edge.
He guided participants step by step, turning complex processes into something easier to understand as parts became full assemblies with complete drawings. The walkthrough helped students clearly see how everything connects in a real design workflow.
By the end, participants felt more confident in applying what they learned and bringing their own designs to life.
